Thundermist Health Center will hold it’s 4th Duck Race on October 2, 2010 at Royal Mills Riverpoint, 25 Providence Street in West Warwick. All proceeds benefit Thundermist's West Warwick facility.
Join us for a fun day...from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, crafters will be set up and there will be plenty of activities for kids, including face painting, balloon art, games (with prizes). At 1:00 pm the race will begin with 5,000 ducks released above the falls of the Pawtuxet River; the ducks made their way down the river to the finish line with the top three ducks winning cash prizes.
First place wins $1,000; 2nd place won $500; and the 3rd place wins $250. A variety of prizes will be awarded to the next 20 winners.
