Trans* Health Access

The Trans* Health Access Team is a group of medical, behavioral health, and allied service professionals working to improve access to culturally and clinically competent healthcare for the trans* community.

Trans* is an umbrella term that encompasses many identities including transgender, transsexual, gender non-conforming/variant/creative, non-binary, genderqueer, intersex, agender, and others.

Vision

Our vision is that every member of the Thundermist community has the opportunity to lead a happy and productive life, built on a foundation of good health. We recognize that we have a responsibility to act proactively and deliberately to address the discrimination trans* individuals face in the health care system, and to address the many health disparities experienced by trans* people.
