Thundermist Health Center Hosts Annual Fundraiser, 18th Annual Moonlight at the Dunes

Thundermist Health Center, a non-profit community health center, hosted its annual fundraising event, Moonlight at the Dunes, on Friday, May 31, 2019, at the Dunes Club in Narragansett.
The event is Thundermist’s signature fundraising gala. Funding for Thundermist was raised thanks to our incredible events sponsors and in-kind donors. The event was an opportunity for business leaders and community members to join together for a night of fun and philanthropy in support of Thundermist Health Center.
“This year’s 18th Moonlight at the Dunes was a night to remember,” said Jeanne LaChance, president/CEO of Thundermist. “It is always humbling to see the number of people who support Thundermist’s mission. Their generosity makes a difference in the lives of our patients.”
Thundermist Health Center raised more than $64,000, with all proceeds going to benefit the patients and programs of Thundermist Health Center. This funding will also help Thundermist achieve its mission to improve the health of patients and communities by delivering exceptional health care, removing barriers to that care, and advancing healthy lifestyles.
Thundermist Health Center is a full-service primary care provider with dental and behavioral health services. The non-profit community health center aims to improve the health of patients and communities by delivering exceptional health care, removing barriers to that care, and advancing healthy lifestyles. Thundermist has locations in West Warwick, Woonsocket, and South County. The organization cares for patients regardless of insurance and ability to pay. In 2018, Thundermist cared for more than 48,000 patients.
