HIV Care

Thundermist provides comprehensive care for people living with HIV, including medical, dental, and behavioral health services. Thundermist is a recipient of Ryan White CARE Act funds, which is a federal program designed to assist individuals living with HIV.

Preventive Health Services

Thundermist participates in a wide range of preventive health programs sponsored by RI Department of Health. These programs include immunization programs, STI screening and treatment, HIV testing, lead screening, diabetes control, Title X family planning, asthma education, and adolescent and school-based healthcare initiatives.

Do you offer behavioral health services?

Yes. Thundermist’s behavioral health team includes licensed social workers, mental health counselors, and nurse prescribers. They provide individual and group counseling, integrated behavioral health interventions, case management, and referrals. Who are the Trans Health Access Team providers?

All Thundermist Health Center providers are equipped to provide quality trans and LGBQ competent care. The Trans Health Access Team providers have received more intensive training about the unique needs of the trans community within the primary care setting including the provision of hormones through the informed consent model of care.
