Thundermist Welcomes New Physician, Stephen Falkenberry, MD

Stephen Falkenberry, MD joins the Thundermist family medicine team in Woonsocket. Dr. Falkenberry is a board-certified OB/Gyn. He specializes in women’s health, women’s cancer, heart disease and primary care.
Dr. Falkenberry comes from a health center background. Prior to Thundermist, he worked at Hopi Health Center in Arizona. He has experience providing outpatient, inpatient, and urgent care.
Dr. Falkenberry cares for patients with multiple medical conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, congestive heart failure, chronic and acute respiratory conditions, acute and chronic kidney and liver conditions and hypertension.
“Dr. Falkenberry has extensive experience working with patients with complex health care needs,” said Jeanne LaChance, president/CEO, Thundermist Health Center. “The addition of Dr. Falkenberry allows us to expand access to patients in Woonsocket.”

Dr. Falkenberry received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.
