Thundermist Health Center of Woonsocket to host a Community Baby Shower
Warwick – April 24, 2019
On Monday, April 29, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thundermist Health Center of Woonsocket will host a community baby shower at The Elks Lodge, 380 Social St, Woonsocket. Expectant parents and their families are welcome to attend; guests do not need to patients of Thundermist to attend.
The event’s goal is to celebrate new families and give them the opportunity to gain knowledge about the growth, development, and health of their baby. Expectant parents will learn how to keep their children safe and find out how to access the tools and services necessary to ensure their babies grow, learn, play, and lead a healthy life. Local community agencies will offer educational resources and giveaways for the expectant parents.
In addition to the community celebration, there will be educational resources, raffles, games, and food. Expectant parents will receive a free gift bag upon entry. The grand prizes include a new crib, car seat/stroller travel combo, and a baby monitor.
