Experience:
With over a decade serving as a family medicine physician at federally qualified community health centers, I specialize in evidence-based preventative and chronic disease management for underserved patient populations. My clinical interests include newborn care (including lactation support), women’s health procedures, office-based addiction medicine treatment, hepatitis C treatment, and gender affirming care.
Passion and Philosophy:
I am particularly passionate about fostering a supportive learning environment where new practitioners can thrive, emphasizing work-life balance (as a full time family medicine doc and mom of three), joy in practice, and efficiency in clinical care.
Goals:
My goals as a preceptor are to help new fellows build confidence in clinical decision making, know how/where to access evidence-based tools to support their decisions, and optimize time while at work (so they can spend evenings and weekends doing all the other things outside of medicine they enjoy).
