Trans Health Provider Talks
Join us for Thundermist’s Trans Healthcare Provider Talks, a three-part community education series for trans and non-binary individuals to hear directly from local gender-affirming healthcare providers!

Wednesday, June 23, 7 to 8 p.m.
Our first talk is with Dr. Beth Cronin, MD, who is an obstetrician-gynecologist with Providence Community Health Centers. Procedures that Dr. Cronin performs include hysterectomy, salpingectomy, oophorectomy, among others. She also provides care for patients who have had vaginoplasty. This talk is an opportunity to learn from Dr. Cronin as she describes her work as a trans-affirming doctor who provides full-scope obstetrics and gynecologic care. Participants will also be able to ask questions.
Monday, June 28, 7 to 8 p.m.
Our second talk is with Dr. Daniel Kwan, MD, a plastic surgeon who is the division chief of reconstructive surgery for the Lifespan Physician Group. Dr. Kwan performs top surgery, bottom surgery, facial surgery, among other procedures. This talk is an opportunity to learn from Dr. Kwan as he describes his work with gender-affirming surgeries for trans and non-binary people. Participants will also be able to ask questions.
Tuesday, June 29, 7 to 8 p.m.
Our last talk is with Dr. Jason Rafferty, MD, MPH, EdM, who is a pediatrician and child psychiatrist with Thundermist Health Center, and the Gender & Sexuality Clinic at Hasbro Division of Adolescent Medicine. This talk is an opportunity to learn from Dr. Rafferty as he describes his work with trans, non-binary and questioning children and adolescents. Participants will also be able to ask questions.
