Thundermist Welcomes New Family Medicine Physician, Angelina Palombo, MD

Warwick – September 2, 2020

Angelina Palombo, MD, joins Thundermist Health Center as a Family Medicine Physician in Woonsocket.

Dr. Palombo recently served as a family medicine physician at Tri-County Community Action Agency. She has experience providing treatment for infants, children, adults, older adults, prenatal care, treatment and management of Hepatitis C, and treatment for addiction, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

“Dr. Palombo has years of experience caring for underserved patients with a focus on women’s health and MAT,” said David Bourassa, MD, chief medical officer. “She brings an array of knowledge and previous experience working with patients in the health center setting.”

Dr. Palombo received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency program at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Palombo is a teaching assistant at Gateways to Medicine and Research at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She also speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
