Thundermist Health Center’s Community Garden to host Winter Garden Events

Thundermist Health Center’s Community Garden will host monthly winter garden gatherings, February 16 and March 16. The events will be held at the West Warwick Health Equity Zone, 1229 Main St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The garden gatherings are open to people of all ages. Attendees can expect to learn new skills including tool cleaning and decorating, garden planning, seed swapping, and more. Materials and healthy snacks are provided.
“We are excited about our upcoming gardening season,” said Tara Cimini, food access team member. “These events help jump-start the gardening process and teach gardeners how important it is to plan and plant ahead of time.”
