Comprehensive Clinician Wellness
Thundermist Health Center is dedicated to supporting the well-being of our family medicine residents through a comprehensive clinician wellness initiative.
Key elements of this program include pharmacy technicians who manage most patient refills, artificial intelligence scribes to reduce administrative burden, and cross-coverage support during PTO to ensure uninterrupted care. Our on-call nursing service takes initial patient calls, further alleviating resident workload.
To promote community and relaxation, we host regular provider wellness events. Residents also enjoy at least two half-day retreats each year focused on relaxation and team building and collaborate closely with core faculty on individualized education plans to support their professional goals.
