The Thundermist Family Medicine residency program offers a comprehensive and diverse curriculum structured across three years (PGY-1, PGY-2, and PGY-3) to provide residents with a well-rounded experience in family medicine. Each year is divided into 13 blocks, with rotations covering various specialties such as internal medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics, emergency medicine, and behavioral health. Residents are also exposed to unique areas such as social justice and practice management, emphasizing holistic, community-oriented care. The curriculum balances outpatient and inpatient experiences, with opportunities for elective rotations that allow residents to explore areas of personal interest. Additionally, the program includes options for paid time off eligibility in specific rotations, supporting resident well-being throughout their training.
